Photography & Video Shooting in Akshardham Temple is prohibited.
Visitors are not allowed to carry food stuff inside the temple premises. Pure Vegetarian food is served at Canteen at Akshardham Temple.
Smoking or chewing tobacco products is also prohibited in the temple premises.
Considering the climate of Ahmadabad visitors are advice to have semi woolen cloth like Sweater / Shall etc. during winters, light cotton cloth during summer and an umbrella / raincoat during the rainy season.

Akshardham temple is located at city heart, close to national highway 8. There is provision of special buses / cars for taking tourists to Akshardham temple premises. The road distance between the Akshardham temple & Gandhinagar railway station is hardly 2 KM where as the rail station and airport of Ahmadabad city are at road distance of 25 KM & 23 KM respectively.
On the road journey direct buses from Jaipur, Udaipur, Dwarika or Somnath, Modhera. Mt. Abu & other cities are available for taking devotees to Akshardham temple.
Ahmadabad is well connected on train / air journey routes with other cities of country and world, hence this is very easy to reach Akshardham temple by air / road / train journey.
